Make a countdown calendar in WPS Spreadsheet
It would be helpful to insert a countdown calendar into a project schedule so that we can view the deadline every time we open it. So today we are going to learn how to make a countdown calendar.
Take this table as an example.
1. On the right of Current date, input the formula =TODAY() and press the Enter key on the keyboard to return the current day.
The Today function can synchronize the date set on the current computer so that the current date will update automatically every time we open this document.
2. On the right of Finish Date, input the deadline of the Forestry Development Project.
3. Select a suitable cell, click the Merge and Center button. The current date is in F2, and the finish date is in F3. So we input the function=F3-F2.
Since the current date will update automatically with the finish date unchanged, we can know the days remaining when opening this table.
4. Then add the unit by inputting the symbol & and DAYS with double-quote marks. And press the Enter key on the keyboard.
Now we have finished an automatically updated countdown calendar, and we can beautify it.
1. Increase the font size of the cell range to make it clearer.
2. Choose a desired color to fill the cell range.
3. And lastly, add the title Countdown to the Project.
Such a simple countdown calendar is done! Did you get it?
