With WPS AI, you can get summaries of long and complex PDF files. You can also ask me questions to help you better understand your file.

PDF - Insight: Auto-Summarize

We find that people often spend a lot of time reading documents, summarizing and refining key information. From now, we will leave this kind of work to AI!

Here's how to use it?

• Step1. Click "Insights & Inquiry "icon in the right toolbar, you can wake up AI.

• Step2. It generate summaries of entire PDF files and break them into easy-to-read sections. 

• Step3. For every summarized session, copy with one click and easily navigate back to the original content.

In addition to this, it can automatically recommand some questions you may ask, with just one click and get the answer in one second.

PDF - Inquiry: Research Assistant

This functionality helps you better understand your file, you can free to ask me questions.

• Step1. Click "What can I ask?", we will suggest you 3 most relevant questions about this PDF.

• Step2. If our recommendation doesn’t help, you can also ask freely, such as"How many times does the author mention Alex in this article?"

• Step3. IF you want to clear our conversation? Just click the rubber icon in the upper right corner.

Tips: Use your cursor to select the first icon of the right menu and drag, you can drag the window and move to any location.

Writer - How to wake up the AI assistant?

We've designed multiple ways to trigger the WPS AI Assistant, ensuring you can access its genius in every writing session.

1. Look for WPS AI entrance in the upper right corner of your document.

2. After creating a blank document, it will automatically greet you with friendly "Start Write With WPS AI".

3. You can also @AI in the document and press the Enter to awake WPS AI assistant.

4. Need assistance while working on specific text? Simply select the text, and the WPS AI floating mini bar will appear.

Writer - Create: Content Generator

Before you embark on your creative journey, we'll provide you with quick prompts to ignite your imagination. WPS AI can expand your thinking and assist you in various scenarios such as brainstorming, to-do lists, working emails, social media posts, and more. The possibilities are endless.

Here's how to use it?

• Step1. Select your desired writing style.

• Step2. Refine your requirements in the dialog box and hit Enter.

• Step3. Wait for a second, WPS AI will automatically generate text that meets your requirements.

Click Finish to seamlessly insert the content into your document. If it doesn't meet your expectations, click Return to discard the generated text.

*Remember, the AI may not produce the same content each time, so be prepared for delightful surprises.

Writer - Improve: Proofreading Assistant

If you already have your text and content. I can also help you improve it. Whether you need to make it shorter, longer, or fix grammar mistakes, I've got you covered.
In addition to the usual commands, you can change the format of the article. For example: This news report covers a diving competition, including national championship teams, diving results, and athletes' names. Organizing this information into tables enhances understanding and readability.

• Step1. Simply select the text.

• Step2. click on "Change Format - Table.

• Step3. The key content of your document is transformed into a neatly organized table.

Tips for giving prompts to WPS AI

When giving prompts to the WPS AI, avoid using some vague keywords, we will probably not get it.
Instead, provide detailed requests to us in terms of writing format, language style, word count requirement, theme and more.
For example, you can say"Please help me write a fun social media copywrite about International Children's Day, limited to 50 words”.
